ABN Custom Fields (the "App") is operated by ABN Innovation JSC("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you install and use our App on your Shopify store.
By installing the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App and discontinue use.
Information We Collect
When you install the App, we automatically access certain information from your Shopify store to provide our services:
- Store details — Your shop domain, owner email, phone number, and store address, used to verify your identity and manage your account.
- Product information — Product titles, descriptions, variants, collections, pricing, and images, used to build and manage custom fields on your product pages.
- Session & device data — Browser type, IP address, timezone, and session tokens, used for authentication and security purposes.
- App usage data — Field group configurations, field settings, target rules, and uploaded files/images stored via our AWS S3 infrastructure.
We do not collect payment card information or any sensitive personal data beyond what Shopify provides through its standard OAuth scope.
How We Use Your Information
The information we collect is used exclusively to:
- Create, store, and display custom fields on your Shopify product pages.
- Host uploaded images and files on AWS S3 / CloudFront CDN.
- Provide technical support and respond to your inquiries.
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access.
- Improve the App's performance and add new features over time.
- Send service-related notices (e.g. updates to terms or critical changes).
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the App:
- Shopify — Our App is built on the Shopify platform. Shopify's Privacy Policy governs data collected through their infrastructure.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS S3 / CloudFront) — Used for storing and delivering uploaded images and files. Data is stored in the ap-southeast-1 (Singapore) region.
- MySQL (PlanetScale) — Used to store field group configurations, field definitions, and target rules.
We may also disclose your information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.
Data Retention & Deletion
Upon uninstalling the App, all your store data — including field groups, fields, target rules, and uploaded files — is automatically deleted or anonymized within 48 hours in accordance with Shopify's data protection standards.
You may also request immediate deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. We will process such requests within 5 business days.
Anonymized or aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained for analytical purposes.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion — Request deletion of your personal data.
- Portability — Request transfer of your data in a machine-readable format.
- Objection — Object to our processing of your data.

Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, access controls for our infrastructure, and Shopify's built-in OAuth 2.0 authentication for all sessions.
However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
